Job summary

Banner Health's Ogallala Community Hospital is seeking an Emergency Department Technician to support inpatient care and ER operations. The role requires a CNA license in NE, and offers full-time night shifts from 6pm to 6:30am, with opportunities to learn inpatient, OB, and ER supportive care.

The position emphasizes teamwork, patient care, and collaboration with RN and physicians while providing a path to expand clinical skills in a busy ED environment near Lake McConaughy.

Qualifications

• High school diploma/GED or equivalent.
• BLS certification is required.
• EMT-B or higher with state licensure or CNA is required for new hires and transfers.

Responsibilities

• Under supervision, perform ECG testing, wound cleansing, vital signs, specimen collection and transport.
• Assist with minor procedures and patient exams within scope of training.
• Perform point-of-care testing and quality checks as allowed by state and facility guidelines.
• Document care, monitor patient condition, and communicate updates to RN/Physician.
• Maintain supply levels and assist with department coordination and training.
