Job summary

Pregis in Sussex, WI is hiring a Maintenance Technician for the Sunday-Thursday 11:00 PM - 7:00 AM shift. You will maintain and improve high-performance manufacturing equipment and troubleshoot in a hands-on role.

Ideal candidates have strong mechanical and electrical skills, read blueprints, and can work cross-functionally with teams. SAP and Excel experience are preferred; Lean manufacturing experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to read blueprints and electrical schematics.
• Experience with SAP and Excel preferred.

Responsibilities

• Performing preventative and reactive maintenance on machinery, building systems, and grounds.
• Troubleshooting and repairing electrical/electronic issues.
• Installing new machines and programming PLCs.
• Managing parts inventory and sourcing materials.
• Conducting tool & die and fixture work.
• Supporting cross-training and departmental organization (5S).
• Documenting work and assisting in root cause analysis.
• Communicating professionally and collaborating across shifts.
• Traveling occasionally (up to 5%) to other company locations.
