Job summary

LALA U.S., Inc. is seeking an Electro/Mechanical Technician for a night shift in a highly automated yogurt production facility in Nebraska.

The role focuses on preventative and predictive maintenance across production lines and equipment, with a strong emphasis on food safety and quality. Applicants should have 2+ years in maintenance, strong mechanical/electrical skills, and familiarity with robotics, automation, and PLCs.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Strong mechanical and electrical maintenance background.
• Maintenance on food processing and packaging equipment is preferred.
• Knowledge of production machinery repair, pneumatic/hydraulic and electrical/electronic skills.
• CMMS experience is highly desired.
• Ammonia Training is a plus.
• Excellent organizational skills and the ability to prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
• At least two years of maintenance experience with robotics, automation, PLCs.

Responsibilities

• Perform scheduled and unscheduled preventative and predictive maintenance on assigned systems.
• Diagnose mechanical and electrical malfunctions using visual and auditory senses, test systems and technical publications.
• Report and take action to prevent food safety and quality problems.
• Assist in and able to troubleshoot, repair, and maintain production lines and associated systems.
