Job summary

Wis-Pak in Norfolk, NE is seeking an Electrician to support our maintenance team and keep plant operations safe and reliable. You will perform electrical installations and diagnose issues, working with the Maintenance Manager to minimize downtime and keep production flowing.

The ideal candidate has a Journeyman Electrician license, 3–5 years in manufacturing, and knowledge of industrial motor controls. PLC experience with Allen-Bradley systems is a plus, and you must be able to communicate

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent with technical training or experience.
• Journeyman Electrician license or equivalent certification.
• 3–5 years electrical experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Strong knowledge of industrial motor controls and safety codes.
• Experience with Allen-Bradley systems and PLCs preferred.
• Clear communication with coworkers, leadership, and contractors.
• Authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Perform electrical installations and maintenance using industry best practices.
• Diagnose and resolve equipment issues quickly to minimize downtime.
• Respond to maintenance calls and safely start up or shut down equipment.
• Repair or replace electrical components in compliance with codes.
• Complete preventative maintenance and keep accurate records.
• Read instructions, sketches, and blueprints; operate tools safely.
• Support general plant operations and assist contractors as needed.
• Adhere to safety, food safety, sanitation, and plant regulations.
