Qualifikationen

• Excellent writing, editing, and communication skills.
• Strong knowledge of entertainment, pop culture, and the EW brand.
• Experience with SEO, social media, CMS, analytics tools, and Photoshop.

Aufgaben

• Lead EW's after-hours news operation, overseeing writers and serving as the primary editorial decision-maker during shift.
• Curate the news list, assign and edit stories, handle breaking news, and prioritize coverage for audience interest.
• Oversee a high volume of content, ensure edits are complete, and pivot coverage as news develops.
• Help writers strengthen news judgment and learn to close out the biggest stories.
