Job summary

Bon Secours Memorial Regional Medical Center is seeking an ED Tech to provide direct patient care under RN guidance. You will assist with basic care, vital signs, lab draws, ECGs, wound care and patient transport, while maintaining documentation and safety standards.

Qualifications include a high school diploma or GED, CPR and healthcare certifications as available. This role requires a compassionate, team-oriented individual capable of working nights in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• BLS Basic Life Support preferred at hire; must obtain from approved source prior to direct patient care.
• EMR/EMT or Medical Assisting certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide basic patient care and support as directed by RN.
• Assist with mobility, hygiene, vital signs, and lab draws.
• Maintain accurate, timely documentation of patient care.
• Support handoff reporting and patient safety initiatives.
• Demonstrate empathy and effective communication with patients and families.
