Job summary

Bon Secours Mercy Health is seeking an ED Tech at Clermont Hospital to provide direct patient care under RN supervision, ensuring safety and quality of care in a fast-paced emergency department.

Responsibilities include vitals, patient comfort, documentation, and collaboration with nurses and physicians. Requires a high school diploma or GED; BLS and EMR familiarity preferred; on-site work in Ohio. Training is provided as needed.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required
• BLS Basic Life Support preferred on hire and must obtain before direct patient care
• EMR and basic clinical equipment experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care under RN guidance
• Take vital signs and monitor patient conditions
• Assist with mobility and personal care
• Perform basic wound care and lab draws
• Document accurately and timely
• Assist with handoff communication between shifts
