Job summary

Devereux Massachusetts is seeking a Direct Support/Care Professional to provide safe, compassionate supervision and evidence-based interventions for youth with complex needs. You will engage with students in daily living activities, support behavior goals, document progress, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to deliver individualized care in a 1:2 staff-to-student setting.

This on-site role includes a night schedule (11pm–9am) and a $250 MAP certification bonus, with opportunities to

Qualifications

• Must be 21 years of age or older.
• Valid driver's license required.
• High School diploma or GED required; Bachelor's degree preferred.

Responsibilities

• Be passionate about working with and helping youth.
• Provide direct supervision to ensure safety of all youth.
• Provide and ensure therapeutic interventions in a compassionate environment.
• Engage with youth, teach appropriate behaviors, and provide positive reinforcement.
• Teach Activities of Daily Living (ADL).
• Complete required documentation such as progress notes and incident reports.
