Job summary

GFL Environmental Inc. is seeking a Diesel & CNG Technician B to maintain and repair our heavy‑duty fleet. You will work under shop leadership on diesel and CNG systems, performing diagnostics, inspections, and test drives to ensure safety and reliability of our waste and recycling equipment.

The role requires 3+ years of relevant experience, relevant certifications, and a commitment to OSHA/GFL safety standards. A CDL is preferred, and tool ownership is essential for on‑site work.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of heavy-duty diesel and/or CNG maintenance experience.
• Brake Safety Certificate and 609 A/C System Certification required.
• Knowledge of DOT, OSHA, and safety regulations.
• Must pass a Maintenance Exam during the interview.

Responsibilities

• Diagnostics & Repairs: diagnose and repair diesel and CNG systems.
• Inspections: perform DOT/brake inspections.
• Test driving to verify repairs.
• Log repairs and maintain a clean, safe shop environment.
• Participate in training programs for skill development.
