Job summary

The State of Indiana is seeking a Computer Scheduler to support 24/7 data center operations across multiple platforms, including Windows, Linux, Unix, and z/OS. You will define, monitor, and respond to alerts and workloads, ensuring production batch cycles complete on schedule.

Onsite role in Indianapolis with 3rd shift, weekends and holidays rotation. A HS diploma plus 1+ year in a similar IT operations role may be considered; compensation starts around $40,404 and grows with experience.

Qualifications

• Ability to workload automation/job scheduling concepts.
• Experience with workload automation/job scheduling concepts.
• A degree is not required but HS diploma and 1+ year of relevant experience are considered.

Responsibilities

• Define, monitor, and respond to job schedules and workflows.
• Operate and monitor data center tasks across Windows, Linux, Unix, z/Os.
• Triage, escalate, and communicate incidents; ensure timely production batch completion.
