Job summary

DSV – Global Transport and Logistics is seeking a Data Center Associate for the C-Shift (M-THU 8PM-6:30AM) at Fort Wayne, IN. You will be responsible for assembling and installing servers and electronic components, managing inventories, and handling materials with precision.

The role requires 1-3 years of related experience, strong communication, and the ability to work with live electrical equipment. Base pay is $20/hour, with background checks and drug testing as part of the process.

Qualifications

• 1-3 years of related experience is required.
• Ability to pass federal/state/local background checks and drug tests.
• Proficiency with computers and data entry for inventory and shipping records.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload inbound/outbound freight to/from vehicles and containers.
• Perform quality checks on inbound/outbound freight and ensure accuracy of part numbers and quantities.
• Conduct daily inventory cycle counts and replenish parts at the datacenter.
• Process return shipments using multiple warehouse management systems.
• Install server racks and cabling following diagrams and schematics.
• Operate rack movers, pallet jacks and other handling equipment.
• Maintain a clean, safe work area following 5S standards.
