Job summary

CoreSite is seeking a Critical Operations Engineer I for the night shift to operate, monitor, and maintain critical data center electrical, mechanical, and life safety systems. You will respond to alarms, perform routine tasks, and support customer infrastructure projects in a mission‑critical facility.

Responsibilities include documenting findings, using CMMS for work orders, and collaborating with technicians and vendors to ensure uptime and operational excellence in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Strong troubleshooting and problem‑solving skills.
• Team‑oriented with the ability to collaborate across operations and engineering.
• Commitment to safety, quality, and operational excellence.
• Clear written and verbal communication skills.
• Working knowledge of data center electrical, mechanical infrastructure and BAS/BMS.

Responsibilities

• Operate, monitor, maintain, and troubleshoot mission‑critical electrical, mechanical, and life safety systems.
• Respond to alarms and abnormal conditions; document findings.
• Track, trend, and analyze system performance using CMMS and tickets.
