Job summary

Amazon Data Services, Inc. in Berwick, PA seeks a Night Data Center Facility Manager to lead hands-on electrical and mechanical systems, ensure reliability and efficiency, and act as frontline for mission-critical infrastructure.

This 40-hour-per-week role operates on a night shift from 4pm to 6am, coordinating with a 24x7 engineering team, overseeing construction, budgets, and vendor SLAs while maintaining safety and high-quality service.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience with Microsoft Office products.
• 5+ years in a managerial/supervisory role with 8–10 direct reports.
• 3+ years of experience in industrial electrical and mechanical systems.
• Knowledge of data center electrical and mechanical systems including feeders, transformers, generators, switchgear, UPS, PDU, chillers, pumps, AHUs.
• Bachelor's degree in electrical or mechanical engineering or 7+ years data center experience.
• Experience communicating technical details clearly.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all aspects of the data center's critical infrastructure.
• Oversee safety, security, availability, quality, and performance across shifts.
• Manage teams of 24x7 engineering technicians and Facility Managers.
• Engage in improvement projects and coordinate with support teams to completion.
• Ensure staffing levels and growth with expansions.
• Actively involved in ongoing construction activities.
• Coordinate daily with third-party vendors ensuring SLAs.
• Effectively manage the operations budget and expenditures.
