Job summary

Byrne Dairy is seeking a Packaging Operator at the East Syracuse facility. You will set up, operate, clean and troubleshoot dairy packaging equipment on the N2 shift (6pm–6:30am) to meet production specs.

Responsibilities include monitoring Baumer machinery, performing quality checks, maintaining logs, and following GMP and food-safety protocols while coordinating with maintenance and production teams.

Qualifications

• GED or High School Diploma required.
• 0-1 years’ experience in a manufacturing environment preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operates case packing equipment and Baumer machinery per production specs.
• Conducts quality checks on packaging output and removes defects.
• Records production data and equipment performance; maintains logs.
