Job summary

Byrne Dairy is seeking a Packaging Operator for the N2 shift (6pm-6:30am) at the East Syracuse plant. You will set up, operate, clean, and troubleshoot case packing equipment and Baumer machinery to package dairy products according to production specs.

• 0-1 years’ experience in a manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

• Operates case packing and Baumer equipment to package dairy per specs.
• Checks output quality, seals, and removes defective packages.
• Performs cleaning, sanitizing, lubrication, and basic troubleshooting.
• Records production data and equipment performance; maintains logs.
• Adheres to GMP and food safety, PPE, and clean work areas.
• Coordinates with team to schedule packing and handle malfunctions.
