Job summary

Memorial Hermann Health System is seeking a Registered Nurse to join the CVIMU at Southwest, caring for mixed acuity patients recovering from post-surgical cardiothoracic procedures. Telemetry monitoring and non-titratable cardiac drips are part of the unit responsibilities; orientation is 6 weeks to 3 months.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited School of Professional Nursing.
• Bachelor's degree in Nursing preferred.
• Current Texas license to practice professional nursing.
• Basic Life Support certification required.

Responsibilities

• Collaborates with interdisciplinary team to deliver patient care.
• Performs nursing assessments, assists with exams and treatment.
• Provides patient education and maintains medical records.
• Care for post-surgical cardiothoracic ICU patients with telemetry.

Education
