Memorial Hermann Health System is seeking a Registered Nurse to join the CVIMU at Southwest, caring for mixed acuity patients recovering from post-surgical cardiothoracic procedures. Telemetry monitoring and non-titratable cardiac drips are part of the unit responsibilities; orientation is 6 weeks to 3 months.

As a part of the CVIMU at Southwest, you will provide care for a mixed-acuity of patients who are recovering from post-surgical cardiothoracic procedures such as CABG, MVR, and AVR. Along with recovery, nurses on this unit manage non-titratable cardiac drips and care management utilizing telemetry monitoring. Experience with telemetry, cardiac monitoring, cardiac care, or IMU population preferred.
The RN collaborates with interdisciplinary team in the delivery of patient care, utilizing the nursing process. Provides professional nursing care to patients, including conducting nursing assessments, assisting with exams and treatment, patient education, and maintenance of medical records.
Education: Graduate of an accredited School of Professional Nursing; Bachelors of Nursing preferred.
