Job summary

Memorial Hermann Southwest is actively recruiting experienced Critical Care RNs for full-time Night shift opportunities in our CVICU. You will join a professional team dedicated to delivering advanced cardiovascular care in a supportive environment.

The role requires 1.5–2 years of recent CCU ICU experience, Texas RN license, and BLS certification. You will collaborate with physicians and nurses, perform assessments, educate patients, and maintain accurate medical records while prioritizing

Qualifications

• Education: Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing; BSN preferred.
• Licenses/Certifications: Texas license to practice professional nursing; BLS; additional certifications may be required.
• Experience: 1.5–2 years of recent critical care ICU experience (CVICU preferred).

Responsibilities

• Collaborates with physician and healthcare team to deliver patient care using the nursing process.
• Performs nursing assessments, assists with exams and treatments, and maintains medical records.
• Provides patient education and supports families; ensures safety and quality care on the CVICU night shift.

Minimum Qualifications

Education: Graduate of an accredited School of Professional Nursing; Bachelors of Nursing preferred

Licenses/Certifications

• Current State of Texas license or temporary/compact license to practice professional nursing
• Certified in Basic Life Support
• Additional certifications may be required based on discipline and/or nursing unit requirements
