Job Description
Zoneton Middle School is looking for an energetic person to maintain the cleanliness of our school community. This position will perform routine custodial activities at ZMS to ensure the building is clean, orderly, and secure for the following school day.
Hours: 11:45 pm – 8:00 pm (7.75 hours per day).
Contract Length: 182 days per year (170 instructional days, 4 holidays, 7 planning days, 1 extended day). Prorated based on start date.
Employment Status: Full‑time with benefits, 10‑month employee on the classified pay schedule.
Responsibilities

- Perform routine custodial tasks to ensure a safe and orderly environment.
- Prepare the building for the school day each morning.
Qualifications & Requirements
- High school diploma or GED.
- Proof of educational documentation required.
- Citizenship, residency, or work visa required.
- Up to 10 years of comparable, full‑time, verified experience.
- Responsible for submitting the BCPS Verification of Experience Form to prior employers for completion and return to HR.
Compensation
- Starting Pay (Step 0): $14.84 / hour.
- Experienced Pay (Step 10): $16.89 / hour.
