Job summary

Charter Schools USA is seeking a Part-Time Night Custodian to maintain clean, safe, and well-kept facilities at our campuses in Florida. Responsibilities include interior and exterior cleaning, trash removal, restroom sanitation, and adherence to safety procedures.

Travel to nearby schools may be required; the role supports the Head Custodian and Facilities leadership in preventive maintenance and daily housekeeping tasks. Strong attention to detail and reliability are essential.

Qualifications

• Minimum high school graduate with continuing education in construction or facilities-related fields.
• 1 year of janitorial trade experience preferred.
• Must possess the above knowledge, skills and abilities.

Responsibilities

• Clean assigned interior areas (hallways, restrooms, offices, classrooms, multi-purpose rooms).
• Clean exterior areas (perimeter, parking lot, windows).
• Empty trash and maintain cleanliness of cafeteria and common spaces.
• Follow safety procedures and OSHA guidelines at all times.
• Assist with maintenance tasks and preventative upkeep as directed by supervisor.
