Job summary

Qualifications

• Education — minimum high school graduate with continuing education construction or facilities related.
• Experience — a minimum of 1 year of janitorial trade experience.
• Special Qualifications — Must possess the above knowledge, skills, and abilities (Skills and Knowledge).
• May perform other duties assigned.

Responsibilities

• Clean assigned areas: interior hallways, restrooms, offices, classrooms, multi-purpose room and other areas.
• Exterior cleaning of perimeter, parking lot, playground and windows as assigned.
• Empty trash and maintain cleanliness of cafeteria areas and tables.
• Sterilize high use areas to reduce bacteria and hazard exposure.
• Assist with maintenance projects and preventative processes with supervisor.
• Follow OSHA safety procedures and school policies.
• Be on site during work hours with radio and coordinate with supervisors.
