Job summary

Charter Schools USA in Riverview, FL is seeking a Full-Time Night Custodian to maintain clean, safe facilities across our schools.

You will perform interior and exterior cleaning, handle waste, ensure sanitation, and support preventative maintenance under the direction of the Head Custodian. The role requires high school diploma and at least 1 year of janitorial experience; travel to nearby campuses may be required.

Qualifications

• Education -- minimum high school graduate with continuing education construction or facilities related.
• Experience -- A minimum of 1 years of janitorial trade experience.
• Special Qualifications --Must possess the above knowledge, skills, and abilities (Skills and Knowledge).
• May perform other duties assigned.

Responsibilities

• Clean assigned areas: interior such as hallways, restrooms, offices, classrooms, multi-purpose room; exterior perimeter and facilities.
• Empty trash from receptacles and dust FF&E, window sills and vents; sterilize restrooms.
• Carry out cleaning and sanitation to reduce spread of bacteria; follow safety procedures (OSHA).
• Travel may be required to nearby schools or warehouse/storage; assist with training programs and maintenance planning.
