Job summary

Charter Schools USA seeks a Full-Time Night Custodian to keep school facilities clean, safe, and well maintained. You will perform interior and exterior cleaning, trash removal, restroom sanitation, and assist with preventive maintenance while adhering to safety procedures.

The role requires a high school diploma and at least one year of janitorial experience, with travel to nearby facilities as needed. You will operate under the supervision of the Director of Projects & Facilities.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• At least 1 year janitorial experience.
• Ability to follow safety procedures and work independently.

Responsibilities

• Clean assigned areas including interior hallways, restrooms, offices, classrooms, and multi-purpose rooms.
• Clean exterior areas such as building perimeter, parking lots, and windows as assigned.
• Empty trash and maintain cleanliness of cafeteria and common areas.
• Dust FF&E, window sills, air vents; sterilize restrooms; remove waste from cafeteria areas.
• Assist with building preventative maintenance processes and coordinating with supervisor.
• Follow OSHA and safety guidelines; report emergencies and coordinate with school administration.
