Job summary

Charter Schools USA is seeking a Full-Time Night Custodian to maintain clean, safe facilities across our sites in Jacksonville, FL. You will perform interior and exterior cleaning, restock supplies, and respond to custodial needs to support a productive learning environment.

The role requires at least a high school diploma and janitorial experience, with adherence to safety guidelines and ability to travel between nearby campuses if needed.

Qualifications

• Education -- minimum high school graduate with continuing education construction or facilities related.
• Experience -- A minimum of 1 years of janitorial trade experience.
• Special Qualifications -- Must possess the above knowledge, skills, and abilities (Skills and Knowledge).
• May perform other duties assigned.

Responsibilities

• Clean assigned areas: Interior - halls, restrooms, offices, classrooms, multi-purpose room.
• Exterior: perimeter, parking lot, playground, windows; remove trash.
• Dust FF&E, sills, vents; clean and sterilize restrooms.
• Handle bodily messes per training; dispose waste in cafeteria areas.
• Assist with cafeteria table cleaning; keep floors clean.
• Travel to nearby schools or warehouse/storage if required.
• Follow OSHA and safety procedures; assist with maintenance tasks.
