Job summary

Perry Local Schools seeks a Custodian II for the 3rd shift at Perry Elementary School. This full-time position runs 11:00 pm–7:30 am, 40 hours weekly, with a 260-day contract, per the OAPSE agreement.

Compensation ranges from $19.50 to $27.36 per hour, plus shift differential based on experience. The incumbent will perform cleaning and maintenance, operate custodial equipment, assist with event setup, handle seasonal lawn and snow tasks, and uphold safety practices in district facilities for

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent to perform duties.
• Prior experience in building/cleaning maintenance desirable.
• Must have motor vehicle operator's license and own transportation.
• Must be able to demonstrate basic knowledge of cleaning.
• Must be able to demonstrate the use of common hand/power tools.

Responsibilities

• Follow safety rules and proper use of tools and equipment.
• Occasionally lift up to 30 pounds and push/pull up to 300 pounds on wheels.
• Seasonal duties including lawn/landscape care and snow removal.
