Job summary

Perrysburg School District is seeking a 12 Month Custodian for Perrysburg Junior High, with a 3:00 pm to 11:00 pm schedule. This full-time, non-exempt role requires a valid driver’s license, good health and a commitment to keeping school facilities safe and clean.

Responsibilities include routine maintenance, cleaning, report writing, and coordination with the head custodian and school staff. Rate of pay is $20.29/hour. Closing date is 10/23/2026.

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license is required.
• Minimum age of 18.
• Ability to make clear and comprehensive reports.
• Professional tact, diplomacy and presentation with staff, students and community.
• Conscientious and maintains good attendance and health.
• Demonstrates enthusiasm and a desire to aid students.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine custodial tasks to care for buildings, contents and grounds.
• Maintain and repair building and equipment; support housekeeping duties.
• Develop schedules for work, inspections, maintenance and cleaning with the principal.
• Keep boiler room clean and safe (if applicable).
• Assist with snow/ice removal and loading/unloading supplies.
• Clean and sanitize restrooms, floors, windows and surfaces as required.
• Report maintenance needs to head custodian or principal.
• Cooperate with staff and assist in kitchen/ cafeteria housekeeping duties.
