Job summary

Eaton’s ES GEIS BLD division in Troy, IL is seeking a Custodian on 3rd shift (11:00 p.m. – 7:00 a.m.). You will perform general cleaning in production areas to support timely order fulfillment and meet Eaton's quality standards.

Responsibilities include sweeping, mopping, sanitizing restrooms, trash removal, minor repairs, 5S, safety, and teamwork. Benefits include health and retirement plans, parental leave, educational assistance, and wellness programs.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• At least 1 year of industrial cleaning experience.
• Experience with buffer, auto scrubber and carpet extractor.
• Proficient with computer applications.
• Working knowledge of Lean concepts.

Responsibilities

• Perform general cleaning tasks in production areas.
• Clean and sanitize restrooms and restock supplies.
• Empty trash and recycling bins.
• Replace light bulbs and paper towel dispensers.
• Report major maintenance needs and follow safety procedures.
• Maintain 5S standards and participate in lean initiatives.
• Assist with preventive maintenance as needed.
