Job summary

SBM Management Services, LP in Mesa, AZ seeks a Custodial Lead to oversee cleanliness and sanitation of assigned areas and provide some direction to custodial staff.

You will work Sunday to Thursday, 8:00 PM to 4:30 AM, earning $18–$19 per hour. Responsibilities include directing custodians, operating cleaning equipment, tracking inventory, and ensuring quality inspections, with a focus on safety and cost-effective supplies.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• At least 1 year related experience.
• CPR/AED/First Aid certification may be required.
• May be required to have a valid driver1s license.
• May be forklift certified.

Responsibilities

• Perform janitorial duties per daily schedule.
• Provide work direction and assistance to custodians as directed by Custodial Supervisor.
• Assist Custodial Supervisor in scheduling and training staff as needed.
• Operate motorized cleaning equipment.
• Track equipment inventory, maintenance, and repair.
• Schedule clean up and repairs as needed.
• Maintain daily upkeep of assigned area.
• Track and maintain supply inventory.
• Assist Custodial Supervisor in purchasing cleaning supplies and equipment.
• Perform quality, service, and safety inspections.
• Report incidents and hazardous conditions to supervisor.
• Report employee personnel and customer issues to supervisor.
• Monitor employees for proper use of PPE, and supplies.
• Correct at risk behavior and report to the supervisor immediately.
• Provide recommendations for corrective action on areas that need improvement
