Job summary

St. Peter's Hospital, part of St. Peter's Health Partners, is seeking a CT Technologist II for a full-time night shift. The role involves performing CT procedures under Medical Imaging leadership and maintaining ALARA standards. Training is available for Rad Techs.

The candidate should have 2+ years experience, ARRT registration, NYS license, and injection certification; Siemens equipment experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• AAS Degree in Radiologic Technology required.
• Minimum of 2 years' CT Technologist experience.
• ARRT registration and NYS license required; certification to Inject.
• Siemens equipment experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Obtains and records a complete clinical history for examinations.
• Evaluates requests for appropriateness and refers concerns to radiologist.
• Instructs patients about the exam being performed.
• Communicates post-procedure information effectively.
• Ensures ALARA radiation protection measures for patients and staff.
• Participates in the dosimetry program and ALARA program.
• Completes documentation for patient care, imaging procedures and RIS.
• Assists in training new personnel.
