Qualifications

• AAS Degree in Radiologic Technology.
• Minimum of 2 years' experience as a CT Technologist.
• Current ARRT registration, NYS license required and certification to Inject.
• Experience on Siemens equipment preferred.

Responsibilities

• Obtains and records a complete clinical history pertinent to examination requested.
• Evaluates requests for appropriateness and coordinates with radiologist.
• Instructs patients about the exam being performed and what to expect.
• Communicates information regarding post-procedure care clearly.
• Ensures ALARA radiation protection measures for patients and staff.
• Participates in the ALARA and dosimetry programs.
• Completes documentation for patient care, imaging procedures, and RIS.
• Assists in instructing new personnel.
