Job summary

UMass Memorial Health seeks a CT Technologist to prepare patients, operate CT equipment, and support Radiologists in interventional studies. You will ensure patient comfort, manage contrast administration, and maintain images and documentation to meet safety and quality standards.

The role requires ARRT radiology certification, MA licensure, and BLS. You will work a night shift in a non-exempt full-time capacity, with a signing bonus possible per interview outcomes.

Qualifications

• ARRT certification in Radiology is required.
• RTR licensure in Massachusetts required.
• CT sub-specialty certification within 1 year of employment.
• BLS certification required.
• Maintain ARRT/DPH CEUs per regulation.

Responsibilities

• Prepare patients for CT exams, ensuring comfort and safety.
• Set up CT scanner and perform interventional studies as needed.
• Assist Radiologist during procedures and maintain image quality.
• Evaluate scans, perform reconstructions, and document results.
• Maintain records, supplies, and practice ALARA radiation safety.
• Orient and train new CT Technologists and students.
