Job summary

UMass Memorial Health in Massachusetts is seeking a CT Technologist to perform CT examinations for a variety of patients. You will assist Radiologists, ensure patient safety, and adhere to radiation standards while delivering compassionate care.

Under general supervision, you will handle imaging with contrast, prepare patients, and maintain accurate records. The role requires ARRT certification and MA licensure, with a potential signing bonus and a scheduling model that includes night shifts.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited radiological program.
• ARRT or NMTCB certification in diagnostic CT.
• Licensed by the Commonwealth of Massachusetts.

Responsibilities

• Perform CT scans appropriate to patient age in inpatient/outpatient settings, following standards and protocols.
• Gather clinical data and maintain accurate patient records.
• Complete records, paperwork and billings and submit promptly.
• Position and transfer patients; assist physicians with interventional exams.
• QC images and send exams to PACS for physician review.
• Maintain inventory and assist with supplies purchases.
• Assist with urgent exam requests and scheduling.
• Perform CT exams with contrast under Radiologist or ER Physician direction.
• Establish IV access for contrast injection per policy.
