Job summary

MetroHealth is seeking a CT Technologist to produce high-quality CT images and support CT-guided procedures in a fast-paced hospital setting. You will collaborate with radiologists, nurses, and other care staff to ensure patient safety and comfort.

Required ARRT CT, Ohio Radiography License, and BLS; preferred ARRT CT advanced certification and 1 year of related experience. This role operates within the MetroHealth radiology team in Northeast Ohio, with night shifts and a 60-hour biweekly

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology Program.
• Registered Radiology Technologist with ARRT.
• ARRT CT credential or obtain within one year of employment.
• Valid Ohio Radiographer License (ODH).
• AHA BLS Certification or obtains within the probationary period.

Responsibilities

• Produces quality CT images in a variety of settings.
• Assists with CT-guided procedures including biopsies and drain placements.
• Patient scheduling and coordination for inpatients and outpatients.
• Educates patients regarding procedures, equipment, and examinations.
• Demonstrates on-the-spot critical thinking and effective communication.
• Works well independently and as part of the CT team.
