Job summary

Safeway is seeking a dedicated night crew supervisor to support the Grocery Manager in directing night operations. You will lead the night crew, ensure fast, courteous service, and maintain product quality and inventory accuracy in a fast-paced store setting.

Responsibilities include training staff, handling stock, and upholding safety, loss prevention, and company policies while maintaining vendor relations and a positive shopping experience for customers.

Qualifications

• Must be friendly and courteous.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Able to work nights, weekends and holidays.
• Able to lift up to 80 lbs. and stand for long periods.
• Strong inventory awareness and basic math.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Grocery Manager in directing night crew operations.
• Supervise night crew activities to maximize sales and customer satisfaction.
• Maintain product quality, rotate stock and manage backroom.
• Assist in ordering, receiving, stocking and inventory control.
• Enforce safety, security and loss prevention policies.
• Foster positive vendor relations and teamwork.
