Responsibilities

• Directs operation of the grocery department at night, including supervising and training personnel on the night crew.
• Supervises night crew activities to maximize sales, earnings, and customer satisfaction; reports incidents to the Grocery Manager and Store Director.
• Maintains product quality; rotates, stocks, faces products, and maintains backroom; cleans and dusts shelves.
• Assists in ordering, receiving, storing, stocking, inventory control and building displays; operates hand trucks and pallet jacks; maintains a safe environment.
• Implements company policies; controls shrink; handles reclamation and loss prevention during afterhours.
• Encourages enthusiastic customer awareness with fast, friendly service and maintains vendor relations.
