Role Description

This is a full-time role as a Night Copy Editor at the Washington Examiner. The Night Copy Editor will be responsible for editing stories and commentary for the website and the weekly magazine, as well as editing the homepage. The shift is Monday to Friday, 3 pm to 11 pm.

The role is primarily a work-from-home position, but the ideal candidate would be based close to Washington D.C. to allow for some in-office flexibility.

Qualifications

• Content Management and Web Content skills
• Knowledge of SEO best practices
• Comfort with working unorthodox hours
• Web Analytics and Web Design skills
• Experience in digital journalism or a related field
