Our retail client is seeking a Video Editor for a 6-month, remote, flexible, 40-hour/week role.

Position Overview

We are looking for a talented Video Editor responsible for editing recorded footage, creating engaging visual content, and collaborating with teams to ensure high-quality, creative final products.

Key Responsibilities

1. Edit and assemble recorded footage into engaging social media videos.
2. Collaborate with producers, directors, and team members to meet project goals.
3. Use software like Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, and Avid Media Composer.
4. Add motion graphics, visual effects, and perform color grading.
5. Edit and mix audio for clarity and professionalism.
6. Manage multiple projects within deadlines.
7. Assist in script editing and develop compelling narratives.
8. Oversee camera operation and setup for shoots.

Qualifications

1. Bachelor's Degree.
2. Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, and Avid Media Composer.
3. Experience editing social media content (e.g., YouTube).
4. Knowledge of current social media trends.
5. Experience with motion graphics and visual effects.
6. Strong skills in color grading and audio editing.
7. Excellent storytelling and script editing skills.
8. Familiarity with camera operation and project management.
9. Strong collaboration and communication skills.
10. Experience in digital media and content creation.
