Job summary

EverStaff is seeking an experienced CNC Mill Operator for the night shift in Irving, TX. The role pays $28.00–$34.00 per hour, with a 4×10-hour schedule and overtime Fridays as needed. Direct-hire, full-time opportunity with competitive benefits.

You will set up and operate large CNC mills, edit programs for Fanuc controls, and ensure parts meet tight tolerances. The position requires reading complex prints, precision measurement, and strong safety focus.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of experience operating large CNC milling machines.
• Strong knowledge of CNC machining processes, tooling, and machine setup.
• Experience editing CNC programs and working with Fanuc controls.
• Ability to read and interpret complex engineering prints and mechanical drawings.
• Proficiency with precision measuring instruments and inspection techniques.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate large CNC milling machines according to engineering drawings and specifications.
• Edit and maintain CNC programs to achieve required dimensions, tolerances, and quality standards.
• Operate large horizontal boring mills and vertical milling machines equipped with Fanuc controls, rotary tables, and automatic tool changers.
• Machine precision-finished parts and pre-machined components.
• Load and unload workpieces using overhead cranes and manual handling methods.
• Inspect machined components using micrometers, calipers, dial indicators, and other precision measuring instruments.
• Monitor machining operations and make adjustments as necessary.
• Collaborate with programming personnel to improve machining processes and efficiency.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
• Meet production deadlines while maintaining high standards of quality and safety.
