Job summary

Leoforce is seeking a CNC Machinist in Muskegon, MI. The role involves loading programs, performing changeovers, and ensuring part quality through GD&T and metrology. You will operate CNC machines, inspect parts with precision tools, and record production data in ERP systems.

The position requires 2–3 years of CNC operator experience, reading blueprints, and a strong math/measurement background. Third shift is available, offering competitive compensation and benefits.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• 2–3 years CNC operator experience preferred.
• Ability to read technical drawings and GD&T, and understand metrology.

Responsibilities

• Perform CNC changeovers and load existing part programs.
• Touch off tools and adjust offsets to maintain part quality.
• Inspect tooling for wear or damage and replace as needed.
• Load, unload, and operate CNC machines.
• Inspect parts using calipers, micrometers, pin gauges, thread gauges, ring gauges, CMM equipment, and other measurement tools.
• Interpret technical drawings and GD&T requirements to identify conforming and nonconforming parts.
• Train and support CNC operators and coordinate with assembly personnel.
• Troubleshoot machining and tooling issues to minimize downtime.
• Accurately record job time, good and rejected part counts, and production information in the ERP system.
• Support changing production priorities and other assigned shop duties.
