SilencerCo in West Valley City, UT is seeking entry-level to experienced CNC Machine Operators for night shift (Mon–Thu 4:00 PM–2:30 AM). Entry level starts at $20.00/hour DOE; training available for willing learners.

The role focuses on precision machining, metrology, and maintaining safety standards in a growing firearmsAccessory environment. Responsibilities include interpreting prints, setting up machines, monitoring quality, and ensuring efficient production with strong attention to detail.

Qualifications

• Basic computer skills and ability to read safety rules and work instructions.
• Ability to read prints and process documentation with minimal help.
• Understand coordinate planes and offsets for setup.
• Knowledge of various stock and inserts used in CNC work.
• Familiar with measuring devices and calibration checks.
• Ability to problem-solve and communicate issues clearly.
• Excellent attendance, teamwork, and work ethic requirements.
• Weekend and overtime availability as needed.
• Must lift up to 25 lbs and stand for long periods.

Responsabilités

• Use metrology to validate quality on all machined components.
• Run machines efficiently based on daily standard work.
• Check parts through company systems with high attention to detail.
• Utilize machine monitoring software and set material stick out.
• Move turret and explain options to avoid crashes.
• Document abnormalities and sustain 5s workplace principles.
• Remove and verify inserts; build parts with minimal variation.
• Calculate parts per bar and set up part counters.
• Read prints with little to no help; monitor coolant concentration.
• Set up coolant lines; maintain machines and reset maintenance alarms.
• Replace high-pressure unit filters and comply with safety procedures.
