Job summary

SilencerCo is seeking a Flow Cell Operator for day shift in West Valley City, Utah. Entry level to experienced CNC machinists are welcome; training available. The role requires reading prints, setting offsets, and maintaining safety and quality standards.

Pay starts at $20 per hour with overtime; full-time, on-site position. Benefits include 401(k), health plans, and tuition assistance. The candidate should be ready to work weekends as needed and lift up to 25 lbs.

Qualifications

• Entry level, intermediate or experienced CNC operator; training available
• Experience preferred but not required with willingness to learn
• Ability to read prints and operate CNC equipment
• Knowledge of metrology and quality checks

Responsibilities

• Use metrology to validate quality on all machined components
• Run machines efficiently based on daily standard work
• Check parts through company systems with high attention to detail
• Utilize machine monitoring software
• Set up material stick out and offsets
• Explain options to move turret and avoid crashes
• Document abnormalities in value driver
• Sustain a high performance site using 5S principles
• Read and verify prints with minimal help
• Maintain coolant concentration and lines to maximize tool life
• Keep up machine maintenance and reset maintenance alarms
• Comply with safety standards and PPE procedures
