Ann & Robert H. Lurie Children’s Hospital of Chicago is seeking a Nurse Assistant to support pediatric care on the night shift, including every third weekend.

You will assist nursing staff, take vital signs, document information, participate in procedures, and help with transport and rounding. The role requires a CNA certification in Illinois, BLS, and a high school diploma, with preference for acute care experience.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Successful completion of an accredited CNA Program.
• Current Illinois CNA certification, active and in good standing.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association.
• One year of acute care hospital experience preferred.

Responsabilités

• Welcome families to ambulatory clinic and support nursing staff.
• Take and document vital signs and medical information; assist with procedures.
• Assist with point-of-care testing and intra-hospital transport.
• Ensure equipment is stocked, cleaned, and functioning; manage waste appropriately.
