Nationwide Children's Hospital seeks a Night Shift Patient Care Assistant to provide basic supportive care under the supervision of an RN or Care Manager. You will collect vital signs, document findings, and communicate with the care team for pediatric patients.

The role requires completion of a fundamentals course or equivalent, an active CNA license in Ohio, and BLS/CPR certification, with at least one year of hospital patient care experience. Weekend rotations are included.

Formación

• Completion of fundamentals course from an approved nursing program, or equivalent certification or experience.
• Active CNA certification in the State of Ohio, or equivalent education or experience.
• Current CPR certification (BLS for healthcare provider).
• One year of patient care experience in a hospital setting within the last three years.

Responsabilidades

• Collects, documents, and reports vital signs.
• Promotes general patient safety and assists with procedures.
• Maintains confidentiality of patient information and HIPAA compliance.
• Keeps unit and patient areas stocked, cleaned, and maintained.
• Performs clerical and administrative tasks as necessary.
• Completes continuing education and may train other staff.
