Job summary

Sanford Health in Alma, NE seeks a Nursing Assistant (CNA) to provide resident-centered care in a 53-bed skilled nursing and an assisted living setting. You will work 12-hour night shifts (6pm–6am) with a 24-hour weekly schedule and a $2,500 sign-on bonus, under RN supervision.

Responsibilities include assisting with daily living activities, vital signs, transfers, meals, and documentation. CNA certification is required or obtained within four months of hire; GED or high school diploma

Qualifications

• CNA certification required and provided by facility.
• High school diploma or GED preferred, but not required.
• Prior clinical or nursing assistant experience in long-term care preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provides resident-centered nursing care and daily living assistance under the supervision of a registered nurse (RN).
• Records vital signs and monitors health status.
• Assists with transfers, repositioning, and walking using proper techniques.
• Assists residents with meals and hydration and participates in activities.
• Documents resident interactions and communicates changes to the charge nurse.
