Job summary

Sanford Health Pipestone is seeking a Nursing Assistant (NA) to provide resident-centered care in a long-term care setting. You will perform daily living activities, monitor vital signs, assist with mobility, and support dietary needs under the supervision of a registered nurse.

Applicants should have a CNA certification and be prepared for evening shifts with potential for night/weekend differentials and ongoing education opportunities.

Qualifications

• CNA certification required and provided by facility.
• Minimum age 16; prior clinical or nursing assistant experience in long-term care preferred.
• GED preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Provides resident-centered nursing care and daily living assistance under RN supervision.
• Assists with basic health care needs including bathing, toileting, grooming, dressing, vital signs, and mobility.
• Assists with meals and hydration and supports wellness and recreation activities.
• Documents interactions and communicates changes in resident condition to the charge nurse.
• Performs housekeeping and laundry tasks to maintain clean living areas.
