Job summary

Good Samaritan Society in Ellis, KS seeks a Nursing Assistant (NA) to provide resident-centered care in long-term care settings. You will assist with daily living activities, monitoring vital signs, and supporting the nursing team under an RN's supervision.

Must have CNA certification or be in process, with preferred prior long-term care experience. Candidates should be able to assist with transfers, meals, and basic health tasks, while adhering to infection control policies and safety protocols.

Qualifications

• CNA certification required or within four months of employment.
• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Prior clinical or nursing assistant experience in long-term care preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide resident-centered nursing care and daily living assistance.
• Assist with transfers, range of motion, and mobility.
• Assist with meals, hydration, and personal care.
• Document resident interactions and communicate changes to the charge nurse.
