Job summary

Optalis Healthcare in Michigan seeks a Certified Nursing Assistant to provide nursing and related services to residents per each resident's plan of care. You will assist with bathing, feeding and activities of daily living, maintaining a homelike environment and promoting residents' rights.

You will monitor residents, document changes, follow infection control policies, and report to the Unit Charge Nurse. A state-approved CNA training program completion within 4 months of hire is required,

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Successful completion of State-approved nurse aide training and competency evaluation within 4 months of hire.
• Verification from State Nurse Aide Registry for abuse, neglect, etc.

Responsibilities

• Assist with bathing, feeding and activities of daily living.
• Maintain beds, nourishment distribution and cleanliness.
• Document resident conditions and update FYI records.
• Follow infection control policies and use PPE.
• Provide direct care to residents per care plans.
