Job summary

Precision Castparts in Crooksville, OH is seeking an inspector to operate coordinate measuring equipment for castings. You will read dimensional specifications from QEI, position castings on the measuring table, and record results in inspection sheets while ensuring tolerances are met.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Ability to read and interpret measurement readings.
• Basic math skills including fractions, decimals, and percentages.

Responsibilities

• Operate coordinate measuring equipment to measure castings.
• Read Dimensional QEI to determine dimensions and tolerances for selected castings.
• Position castings on measuring table and adjust equipment to align control bar over sections of castings.
• Record measurements in inspection sheets and document results.
• Notify supervisor of discrepancies between measured values and specifications.
