Qualifications

• Licensed as Clinical Laboratory Generalist by the Louisiana State Board of Medical Examiners.
• Familiar with specimen processing and safety procedures.
• Ability to operate and maintain laboratory equipment.

Responsibilities

• Ensure specimens received are acceptable for testing.
• Label and distribute specimens while maintaining identification integrity.
• Follow hospital safety and infection control policies.
• Prepare and interpret gram stains and other preparations.

Education

Clinical Laboratory Generalist licensed by the Louisiana State Board of Medical Examiners as CLG or CLS
