Job summary

Children's Health in Dallas is seeking a Clinical Social Worker (MSW) to conduct psychosocial assessments and support families through hospitalization and care transitions.

The role requires a Masters Degree and LMSW license with LCSW preferred; 2+ years of social work experience is favored. This is an on-site, 3-shift weekend schedule with emphasis on coordination of discharge planning and interdisciplinary collaboration.

Qualifications

• MSW degree and active licensure required or pending in Texas.
• LMSW license required; LCSW license preferred.
• Minimum 2 years of social work experience; 4+ years preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform psychosocial assessments and document findings per accreditation standards.
• Assist families with coping and adjustment to illness and hospitalization.
• Coordinate anticipatory discharge planning for home care.
• Lead and participate in multidisciplinary care conferences.
